EXPERIENCED ARBORIST CLIMBER

We are actively looking for an experienced climber to join our team on a full time PAYE basis.

We are a family-run, well equipped Arboricultural company providing both domestic and commercial tree work.

What we’re offering you:

• £35 - £42k PAYE

• Hardworking loyal team to lead

• Mon - Fri 7.30am - 4pm regular early finishes and overtime available

• Varied work - some big days, some more chilled ones…

• Training and additional qualifications encouraged - all led by you

• Monthly Physio, Chiro or Osteo appointments

Our workload is varied and ranges from full dismantles and site clearances to grounds maintenance, tree-planting & installing wildlife habitats, as well as surveys and everything in between.

What we’d like from you:

We are looking for someone loyal & trustworthy who already has expert knowledge of the industry. You will be someone who takes great pride in their work with a strong focus on nature and the environment. An integral part of Springwood, you will be confident in leading a team to deliver the highest standards of work & customer service regardless of the job.

Your main duties will include:

Leading daily tree surgery operations on site
Performing advanced climbing, pruning, dismantling and felling
Supervising ground crew and ensuring safe working practices
Communicating clearly with clients and team members
Maintaining equipment, vehicles, and PPE to a high standard

This is a hands-on role suited to a confident climber who takes pride in quality workmanship and teamwork.

Ideal experience:

- 3+ years climbing (preferred), would consider less for the right candidate.

- Self-motivation and a solid understanding of modern arb techniques

- A proactive attitude and strong leadership

We require the following NPTC qualifications as a minimum:

Full UK driving licence (B+E preferred but not essential)

CS30, CS31, CS38 & CS39 - as a minimum

CS40, 41 & 47 - (preferred but not essential)

Use of a Woodchipper

First Aid +F (preferred but not essential)

CSCS Card (preferred but not essential)

Training/refreshers can always be arranged.
